Massfeller, 72, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 1, 2020 at his home. He was born September 4, 1947 in New Castle, Delaware to Kurt and Margaret (Eastman) Massfeller. Thomas was an Engineer with Dupont in their sales and purchasing departments for many years. He was a member of The Ormond Beach Historical Society, The Ormond Yacht Club, The Chamber of Commerce, Oceanside Country Club, Kiwanis, and Ormond Beach Garden Club. Tom Massfeller was an avid hands-on supporter of many local historic events throughout Volusia County and will be remembered by all. It’s important to note that Tom Massfeller’s wish to have the Nathan Cobb Cottage listed as a Florida Heritage Site has been accomplished by members of the Ormond Beach Historical Society in 2021… The Nathan Cobb Cottage is now owned and maintained by the Ormond Beach Historical Society because Tom Massfeller gracesously donated this historic property and funds to maintain it for many years to come… Please visit the Ormond Beach Historical Society website for additional information… Thomas W.
